Miracles and the Fermi paradox

When I decided to write about miracles (mostly to make up my mind), I was struck that ordinary people do not talk about if you have witnessed a miracle, or whether this or that cure is miraculous, but simply question: Do you believe in miracles? Common sense places miraculous, not evidence, or testimony, but on beliefs. They should not be miracles, people think, something that happens at the sight of all, but rather in what is believed or not.

Miracles, by their wonderful traits, may be the subject of superstitions, and even a business opportunity. But as an object of reflection is a problem discussed seriously, read the entry that you spend the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy [ link]. Nor is it necessary to emphasize the importance that the miracle is to Christianity. On the causes of saints, is relevant signorum fame (the opinion of the faithful graces and favors received), and all Catholic theology is based on two miraculous events: the virgin birth , and resurrection. So it is a matter which requires circumspection.

unsurpassed definition of miracle or wonderful fact is that of St. Thomas (S.Th. 1, 110, to .4): aliquid esse dicitura miraculum, praeter quod fit totius naturae ordinem creatae (a miracle is what occurs outside the order of all created nature). From here the philosophers discussed the fact praeter naturae ordinem (ie, "outside the natural laws.") In these terms, are possible and credible miracles?

It seems instructive that we overlook the variant of the classic definition offered by the English apologist CS Lewis, specifically from his book Miracles (1947): I use the word Miracle to mean an Interference with Nature by supernatural power ("I use the word miracle to express an interference with nature of supernatural power ") [Harper Collins ]. A miracle, to Lewis, is a supernatural interference . Thus leads us to his apologetic purpose, which is to argue that, in fact, is ordinary supernatural, and that such interference can occur in our world.

is curious word interference. According to Academy dictionary, Castilian is an English loan [ DRAE ], which took the average Frenchman enterferer , and ultimately from Latin FERir (hitting, wound). Therefore, in the mind of Lewis, the miracle is like a wound, a violence in nature. A humorous illustration of the miraculous taken in this regard is the Bill Murray movie "Groundhog Day" ( Groundhog Day, 1993), when the days do not happen, but the same day repeated over and over again each morning, when the protagonist wakes up.

There is no difficulty in affirming that God is everywhere , or as St. Thomas onmibus Deus est in rebus ... Quando non solum esse incipiunt cousin, sed esse quandiu in conservatur (S.Th. 1. Q.8, 1), illustrating theory with a beautiful image: sicut in aere causatur lumen a sole quandiu illuminatus manet aer ( "as light as the sun causes the air while the air remains illuminated.") But that supernatural presence, bearing, "interferes miraculously at any time?

I can think of two objections. The first lies in a limitation on our ability to observe (The uncertainty principle that Lewis mentioned it). supernatural can not manifest in nature rather than natural (hence the Baby Jesus in the eyes of a child shepherds.) It is inconceivable supernatural interference in the natural, they are dimensions irreconcilable. From our perspective of individuals enrolled in nature (like fish in water) can not recognize supernatural interference. At this point, I am aware that Lewis argued that mental phenomena are supernatural , a view that seems highly questionable, with that would be solved for him the ordinary interference of the supernatural in the natural. But the fact that the mental is not reducible to the material, does not follow that it is supernatural mental. CS Lewis has an idea of the supernatural unfounded (in my opinion because it confuses the natural and material: matter of course, but not all of nature is material).

If we now turn to Aquinas, we find that the real problem of definition: fit quod praeter naturae ordinem totius lies in its first two words: quod fit, which is made or occurs. There is a fiat supernatural that appears in nature (and therefore is not appropriate to speak of a "creative moment": the creative act, the fiat lux , does not adhere to the natural sequence). If natural laws were interrupted by supernatural interference (praeter ordinem naturae ), this fact miracle could not be recognized by observers as we are natural.

The second objection to the possibility of miracles could still call Fermi paradox [wiki ]: whether the existence of aliens is just as likely, where are they? Somehow aliens are also miraculous, but I want to refer epistemological order here: whether miracles are possible, where are they? The proliferation of saints' causes has led to the proliferation also the testimonies of miraculous healings . But in fact it is healing that are not explicable in the light of present medical science, so the experts in these processes rely on the standard formula: "scientifically inexplicable healing " (a doctor never assert the existence of a miracle). We therefore find that the miracles, defined as acts that violate the order of nature, we are not displayed . What remains, then?

With a bit of irony, I say believe in miracles ... but not the definition of St. Thomas. Yes, I believe that miracles occur, but not amazing facts (like seeing a flying donkey.) After the above, define them as revelation in nature and in people's lives a supernatural significance. The miracle is not manifest to our senses, but our understanding. And does not alter the natural course of things. The miracle is symbolic, not wonderful. The vision of the starry sky above us and is miraculous, because it shows us God the Creator is in all things.

Sample Message For Wedding Blog Welcome Message

a flawed understanding of the resurrection

The message of the Resurrection is important because it speaks of our hope that we will not die completely . As for the testimony of Jesus' appearances after his death and resurrection (which if we believe ad litteram the gospel, came to hold a barbecue on the beach with the disciples), there is a vast debate in modern theology, rejecting his reading in a gross literal sense. DNR not return to the body. The theologian Joseph Tübingen Ratzinger explained the resurrection watching what now seems obvious, that death is the extinction of the biological body ( bios), and that the resurrection is the entrance to a different life (zoe ), unimaginable, which transcends his physical laws, chemical and biological weapons.

Vivid Gospel accounts of Jesus' resurrection appearances are pedagogical purpose, but can not be taken as an empirical description if you want that the message of the good news is credible for our time . Resurrection misunderstood would also incomprehensible death of Jesus (if raised in the grave, do you not die, then he was asleep?). Paul Our replica will be: if Jesus did not die as we have to die, then is our faith . But beliefs are free (as illustrated by the argument of Russell's teapot), and they are irrefutable.

By the way, Sunday morning I had breakfast, reading the newspaper Abc with an article of author Juan Manuel de Prada, "glorious body" [ link], showing a flawed understanding of the resurrection. Defective because not know what he's talking (actually no one in this life know how resurrection), or composition of is what it is theology (which is not to explain a catechism) or assume that the modern defender faith in imitation of the apostles, should seek to explain away religious belief our current knowledge of the universe.

I am angry this literalist reading Prada because biblical fundamentalism is no longer frowned upon in the church. Benedict XVI has repeated in his e xhortación Verbum Domini (44): "the" literal "reading advocated by fundamentalist actually represents a betrayal, both literal and spiritual sense, opening the way to instrumentalization of various kinds (...) The problematic aspect of this reading is that "refusing to take into account the historical of biblical revelation , becomes unable to fully accept the truth of the Incarnation itself. shun fundamentalism the close relationship between the divine and human in relationship with God ... For this reason, tends to treat the biblical text as if it had been dictated word for word by the Spirit, and fails to recognize that the Word of God has been formulated in language and phraseology conditioned by a certain time or another " [ Verbum Domini].

says Prada on Abc : "Jesus ate and drank with his disciples after rising, as evidenced by persistently evangelists and certifies Peter (Acts 10, 41). " That's Pedro said that certifies , evidence that our Prada reads Scripture as a crammed police they were, and so nothing subtle plays. Worst seems to rest on nonsense: "But," repeated the scientistic, exasperated, "what happened inside the tomb?". What happened there beyond our understanding, but the Jesuit Manuel Carreira, a physics professor and theologian, has tried to imagine , based on recent advances in quantum mechanics , which have been observed in the laboratory phenomena of movement discontinuous, empathy and multilocación (...)" elementary particles [bold emphasis added] .

If the resurrection beyond our understanding, what is imagined? Not to mention that a scientistic (as I can be me), the opposite as it has ridiculously Prada, never ask what might happen inside the tomb , because the resurrection is a fact theological, not reachable by itself ; or time ( the third day according to the Scriptures ) or space ( resurrect not rise from the grave , shake off the shroud, and leave the tomb ...). The circumstances of time and place are imaginings that are repugnant to what, by glorification transcends the mundane dimensions (space and time, matter and energy). And if the resurrection of itself may not involve the subject's body, the crazy lazy invocation of quantum mechanics, which regards material facts, by strangers who seem to us at our level. And finally, if a subatomic phenomenon observed in laboratory managed to validate something the resurrection of Jesus, we would to say with Paul, who vain would our faith, if it is based on quantum mechanics!

who follows the single letter of the Gospels without grasping its meaning, can not understand how to revive . And as for how it is raised is a meaningless question because quomodo? Predicable is a category of mundane facts, not theological or made glorious . explain the resurrection as a physical phenomenon , is theologically aberrant (as well as dissimilar confuse things: the material world and eternal life), and shows a very poor hope that clings to experiences known to the world without knowing what awaits us when to die. If it was a physical event observable, Jesus would not have risen (and vain would our faith, then yes!) Because a ghost is not risen. who resurrects back to life not known, but entering another new life. And ghosts (as the father of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark) are events of this world, not another .

why I believe the Gospels, when telling the apparitions of the Lord, say more about the faith of the disciples, that the vicissitudes of the body of Jesus, dead and buried. The resurrection, which is releasing the biological body can not be an empirical fact of this world. Ratzinger explained it in Tubingen. On this I hope to return later.

Petite Cashmere Sweaters

taurine test library

Al bookish what you like, then gather them together, is to catalog and make it public. In my penultimate post, "Speaking of bulls", I amused myself in tearing bullfighting 8 books and discuss them in passing. As might be capricious selection, I have taken on Saturday to look good on the shelves, to take note of other worthwhile also. In the second round go another 27, making a total of 35. For a discreet amateur is not going to bulls, not bad. It is not organic or complete a collection or to donate it to any institution, but it entertains me because it is the fruit of twenty years of collecting, since I was a student at the university.

not say which of them is more valuable, according to the criteria of monetary concerns, bibliologic or bullfighting, but not the ugliest I doubt that is an early portrait of Jesulín! (1994), Filiberto journalist Mira. Although according to the statement of the classic book that no matter how bad it is, it does not have something good, it contains some curious snapshots, like Jesulín of kid, but bullfighter poster, sitting at a desk in his school . It's been a very brave bullfighter who has suffered tremendous horns, and should never be less than a bullfighter. And I start ...

Thick Rubber Bracelets

Always look on the bright side of life

"A universal solidarity unites all the gestures and images of men, not only in space but also and especially in time" (Elie Faure).

would not seem outdated and tramp thing that an old book, whose fate is to perish in the fire (they burn out), or thrown away, crushed and made pasta. However, records are yellow, dirty, creased, which move more sympathy among bibliophiles (or at least to this writer), and love of books-a-brac must be the last grade of bibliophiles, because the book traces the time seems a sign of immortality.

Today he came home for lunch, whistling and good humor, walking (because traffic is a carajal Sevilla in the week of April Fair ), and because Experience shows that the positive spirit brings good fortune, I had a lucky break with an old book. A Street neighborhood, a mop was stationed at the corner of the pharmacy and had spread a blanket of books. When I reached his side would pass by, but even though it was three, I stood a while sniffing around, finding all of a sudden with a booklet of Juan Eduardo Cirlot (not all days is one with a Cirlot ). Specifically, abstract spirit from prehistory to the Middle Ages (Madrid, Editorial Labor, 1970), which I was asked to 1.50 euros (the title quotes online between 10 and 50 euros [ AbeBooks ]).

The mop was telling me who has eight children (the girl of 21 years and older than 35), some standing. Sells books, and is a Chapu (doing odd jobs). An entrepreneurial spirit that lives in a duplex , as I said, not far from the neighborhood. I wonder how late they will be selling books. After lunch, we took a paquetón books that I have evolved (some new, unused). The Cirlot also had given a lady in the neighborhood this morning, and has gone into my hands. Thus, the informal market for books is an excellent way of relocate the books and place them where they can continue doing good, in a second life.

Speaking of bulls

bulls fan I'm just, because the National Party. I presume you have seen fight at Curro Romero. And although I am fond of warm, for years I have cultivated the bibliophile taurine (I mean that I have collected books on bulls). Since my library is a mess, I could only play-off some books to make notes. Others do not even know what site walk. True, after seeing bulls, which he likes is a fan gathering, and reading and writing of bullfighting (a chronicle, a poem or essay), take pictures in the square or in the field, or draw and paint tasks. Here are some interesting titles that I fetched (in reverse chronological order):

José Luís de Córdoba [pseud.] (1997), Manolete in the memory. 50 anniversary of the tragedy of Linares (1947-1997) . Commemorative work, widely read, this myth (like many that has the art of bullfighting).

Gerardo Diego (1996), Poems bullfighting and prose. Collection edited by the editorial Valencia Pre-Textos, includes works such as ineffable Luck or death, resulting from the hybridization of poetry and taurine who met in the person of the author.

Armiñán Jaime (1994), Journal black and white. Armiñán, amateur filmmaker and the bulls, many will remember as the author of a series of TV, Juncal (the protagonist was a retired bullfighter who lived the story.) This newspaper, in fact, are interspersed memoirs of his life, his love of bullfighting, their practice of cinema. Of great literary value (but Publishers' warehouses are filled with books of great value!).

Alvaro Domecq (1985), The bull. Outstanding book because it was written by an authority (a former rejoneador bulls and cattle) and because it is written in a very orderly and in a Castilian very sober, almost like talking.

Ernest Hemingway (1960), The Dangerous Summer . A classic, illustrated edition indispensable (and published in English, to grasp how the writer reproduced the speech of English). " The Dangerous Summer Ernest Hemingway's WAS last book. What started out as a commission for Life magazine, Which Had Asked him to write an article on the bullfighting rivalry entre Antonio Ordonez and Luis Miguel Dominguin That Came to a head in the 1959 season, Had Turned Into over 100.000 words by the time Had Hemingway finished ".

Library Catalog bullfighting Antonio Urquijo de Federico (1956). It contains 3.016 records of the reconstructed" Urquijo Library. "I have an original catalog, bought old four dogs in the library "Don Cecilio de Triana" (on Castle Street, opposite the church of the O).

Luis Toro
Buiza (1947), Seville History of Bullfighting . "The original edition of Sevilla in the History of Bullfighting , 1947, was conducted by the City of Seville and was, in fact, the introduction to a fascinating exhibition catalog celebrating bullfighting in Sevilla" (the prologue to Peter Romero de Solís to the exquisite institutional reprint 2002).

Dr. Thebussem (1892). A sad cape. Curious book by an author more curious still, which could speak at length. In the second part (which the author entitled "Bullfighting homeopathic ") narrates how just in Medina Rosario de la Aurora".

Ratzinger explains the Resurrection

occasion that the theologian Joseph Ratzinger, stripped of his authority as Supreme Pontiff (though not his title of Pope ) has published the second part of Jesus of Nazareth , it seemed good to me also (at his side from a plane intellectually negligible) glossing some of his ideas on the Resurrection since this is the time, and is the core of Christian faith (as in general it was already many Jews of the Master, cf. Lk 20, 27-39).

This new installment ("from the Entry into Jerusalem to the Resurrection") [Ediciones Encuentro ] I think also, as the first, superfluous in the theological order, since much of Joseph Ratzinger what we now repeat I have said, even in detail, in his Introduction to Christianity . Lectures on the Apostles' Creed taught in Tübingen in 1967. So I will now refer to section II.2.4 of these lessons ("risen from the dead").

La Resurrección del Señor es motivo de escándalo, first of all, as many imagine it as Jesus died and was buried he had risen from the grave [ resurgens ]. It is impossible for the popular imagination it could represent another way, since by its very nature is unimaginable resurrection (it can not be represented in a image) , because it has no basis for comparison in order of things known. De ratione est imaginis similitudo (says St. Thomas in S.Th. 1, q.35, a.1), similitudo rei quae est in specie . So maybe we can accept the iconography of Jesus crucified (with all the idealization that the artists have blurred the picture of a horrific executed), but not that of Jesus risen if not more than obedience to popular devotion.

The Sadducees of Jesus' day, refute the resurrection saying paradoxes such as the case of marriage referred contrayese woman with seven children. The answer I gave the Master (Lk 20, 36) could not be more elegant: those who are worthy of future life and resurrection, are like angels . That is like saying that a resurrected not be like a man or a woman (we can represent the human figure).

Ratzinger explains that "the life of the Risen is not bios, ie bio-logical form of our mortal life in history, but zoe, new life, different and ultimately a life that has passed the deadly field of the history of changes by a greater power. The New Testament of the resurrection stories clearly insist that the life of the Risen and does not fit into the history of changes , but outside and on it. "Motivated by this understanding of the Gospels, he proposed a" true "hermeneutics" of the resurrection accounts tough ", based on the idea that the ultimate life escapes chemical and biological laws . This understanding is very consistent with the Master's teachings on the afterlife.

On the resurrection can not say more than is not a return to life as we know (which Ratzinger called bios ) but admission to a different life ( zoe), we can not bear, because it is not the end of similarity . This modern understanding of the resurrection of dissimilarity , causing surprise in the study of the questions posed by Thomas at S.Th. III, like that (q.54 a.4) whether Christ was resurrected with injuries [ conveniens fuit corpus animam Christi cum in resurrection cicatricibus resumere ], under the principle that the body was raised in Christ [ quidquid ad pertinet humani corporis naturam, in corpore Christi fuit totum resurgentis ].

Today, using the approach of Ratzinger, would say that Thomas confused bios and zoe , because he lacked scientific paradigm that would have led to restriction of biology that dies and dies, the flesh and blood [et sanguis expensive ], and can not raise (because the resurrection is not a return ).

But as Ratzinger said in his lecture, this is only "half of things and stay here would distort the message of the New Testament." In principle, holds that meet the Risen Christ is an experience that has nothing to do with the encounter with another person in our history . But also, that the Gospel accounts show a major event , because "faith is not born in the hearts of the disciples, but they came out and strengthened against doubts and convinced them that Jesus had truly risen." The Risen Christ "has entered the Kingdom of God and is so powerful it can be visible men." Not find in the text of Ratzinger any suggestion about the nature of this visibility, more is not itself a physical body, and just means (as I understand it) a real correlate of belief of the disciples . Only in this way means that the disciples were convinced of their belief in the resurrection of Jesus Because they believed real and not imagined (and that has nothing to do with visibility physical-optics).

This new understanding of reality (not physicality) of the resurrection of Jesus, will allow us to better understand the conclusion of the Jewish scholar Paul Winter in the 1961 classic process Jesus (cited by Geza Vermes), "sentencing, took him away. Crucified, dead and buried, rose again, despite everything, in the hearts of the disciples who loved him and felt him near. Court the world, condemned by the authority, buried by the churches that proclaim your name, risen again today and tomorrow, in the hearts of men who love and feel close to him. "With Ratzinger say that the resurrection, in real terms can not be reduced to a mere warm feeling, but in history can only be made visible and, in the hearts of believers .

conclude with a reflection on the service can now provide new book on Jesus, the theologian Joseph Ratzinger. The faith that will not die at all, can not be based only on the earthly life of Galileo (the "historical Jesus") because the facts do not we try to hope (as the campaigns of Julius Caesar in Gaul can not touch us intimately, root). But the popular versions of Jesus appeared to his disciples , also contribute to explain away our faith with our knowledge of nature. A "Jesus of faith" maximally away from physics and biological consistency will never be understood by those who do not believe, leading, in reaction, to remove people from a message that would be popular, the good news , which then becomes surreptitiously text-sectarian and occultist. Actual receipt of the gospel requires a balance among the founding events (the story of Jesus on earth), and the object of faith (the resurrection), performed according to our paradigms. As for the resurrection of Jesus, I feel it necessary not to confuse an event made visible in the hearts of the disciples with a physical event (do not confuse bios and zoe under the terms of Ratzinger).

Negima Dai Mahorasai Cd

El Chico 1996 (Second and Last Part)

At the end and then trying to bribe me with a pair of Mishka, Meche won his role and I agreed to have dinner with El Chico 1996, now become a famous plastic surgeon in cable programs.
For all not seem so out of cardboard, Meche gave my cell phone and be responsible for formally inviting.

- When I saw your photos on Facebook I have to admit I was surprised. I mean, you're better. Changed.
prettiest
- Yes. Still used in 96 fixtures.

- Ja. If you were saying "Iron" ...

- Not a day goes by that I do not remember ...

- But you were very funny.

- Era. With time for me was the grace and good humor.

- And why a girl like you alone?.

- I never said she was alone, in fact I am, "but" What do I have?. Do I very single?.

"Do not misunderstand me. He wanted to be a compliment and went wrong. Come to the point. Friday at nine. How come?.

- I have nothing.

- then I'd be out to dinner. All. With Meche, groom, and Matthew. I mean, to make wines, not long ago that we met. I am in charge of selecting the location and deposed notice.

- Cool.

That "boy 1996", Gaston Leveira, arming a group outing was no doubt a relief to uppercase.
I was not able to have a "date" with my crush of the colony after more than 10 years since we met. Imagine depressed me remember the day that James Lacolla almost drowned in the pool. Or that Bridget, the coordinator, you transiparaban armpits. And fantasy
more porn that had to be diluted with anecdotes from when we were kids, hairless and toothy.
Also, what's that mean I'm single?. When does acquire an aspect of "unmarried"?. As if a card that said CATEGORY: Single

But inadvertently was not so easy to escape the dogma that my therapist had been able to create, open your eyes and repeating CHANCE while drawing circles in the air as 0 SER propaganda.

"It's a dinner, are friends, I have this kid will win from 12. CHANCE.
Ok, I like Mickey Mouse and go to Disney, but I have to stop being so prejudiced. I dated a lot of guys who shared the same interests and did not work. "

This time could be different. Bah except that Gaston chose the restaurant grease from Puerto Madero full of mirrors, with a violet light that seemed taken from a collective 109 and Phil Collins soundtrack.
had not gone five minutes since we sat down we started to hear screams of a Forties who recognized him from the door and now came to the table willing to take a picture with the "Doctor of the TV."

- "Oh Doctor!. We follow him on television. A friend of ours was operated with you but at the time yet to cosmetic surgery. Long ago in a watch, a pneumothorax. And one day we were looking Silvia cable and told us - "That is the doctor who operated on me in the Alvarez" - and from there you continue forever. We do not miss a program. "

"Thank you" - answered the - smiling with his teeth bleached, while taking pictures with the group of ladies.
And for a moment, everything seemed so tremendous that even stopped bothering.
The food was not bad and Gaston amused everyone with his stories of boobs and methacrylate.
At times cutting his monologue kind of stand up for me in my ear that was cute and load again knowing your audience, we were celebrating every grace, "he was doing. We were having a good. Irma had razón.CHANCE.

As to the fourth bottle of wine, Matias wanted to make a toast.

- I want to provide for this reunion. And I propose that we will do a camp like that of 1996. Next long weekend. We all go to my house on the coast. It's great. Do not you, Doc?.

"I already signed.

"I think it can be a very special camp. I mean, the last time we saw a similar situation, we were all virgins.

- If we were to spend hours or remain so.

- What hours?. I stopped being a virgin 3 years after the camp. Tell me that you put her in that camp and I'm here. Will put it there?.

"Yes, idiot, I thought you knew. The daughter of the watchman of the campsite. Now

monologue all celebrated the Doc he was nothing but the horrible story of how had lost her virginity to a peasant woman 10 years older than him, which led to a discussion of drunken men, telling their sexual debut, listing the amount with which the famous Doc had gone to bed, finally explaining a strange point system applied to women: "If it's 5 but is charismatic, it does not matter."

With Meche went out to smoke. Seen from a distance the scene was Michael Jackson's Thriller. Gaston laughed out loud smacking his lips with his tongue, making a strange gesture with his fingers.
Not only had not noticed that I was no longer on the table but I doubt he cared. Towards
half hour who kept talking about his whistle.

- I think I will stop therapy.

- Why?.

- No. I like too many chances. Sometimes it would be better to stay at home watching Larry David before going out with anyone to see "that thing".

- Did you say by Dr Schwanek?.

-Other ...

-I know, it's terror. I swear not to make more this type of output.

- Promise?

- Did you hear what's new?

- Which of all the atrocities he said?.

-La that was counted as "helicopter" with the whistle.

-Tremendo.

- Get out of here. Let to walk a bit.

- Please ...

And there I was again eager to get home before jumping on couch, eating Cadbury Yogurt and a real appointment with basket.

What Is A Good Name For A Online Pet Supply

Sevilla, Easter Sunday morning

A splendid morning of Easter Sunday in my town, which compensates for the showers of Holy Week. It tells the press that was 78 years (since 1933) that the processions were suspended early on Friday (the madrugá , as the people). This year, the risk of rain, have left temples none of the six fraternities at dawn: El Silencio, El Gran Poder, La Macarena, Calvary , La Esperanza de Triana and Gypsies. But neither paraded Students the Tuesday before Easter, or Passion, which should have left his church in the square of El Salvador at dusk on Holy Thursday, and many others ...

I recall that on Easter Sunday last year, about noon, I was watching the procession of the Risen to turn the streets Santa Ángela de la Cruz and Girona, which is a "shot back" (so are the people of Seville, we have and remember for years to brotherhoods). But this time I preferred to visit the library Recaredo street in Puerta Osario, where fig a fig librejo find some cheap. On this occasion, a balance of the nation's history chichimeca (1640), Fernando de Alva Ixtlilxochitl, ugly bad paper edition (what are you going to do.) will say that I have extravagant tastes, but this season I'm reading my True History of Bernal Diaz del Castillo, and soaking of the things Aztecs. Honestly, when I read the chronicles of the conquest of New Spain , I think it shrinks the heart of the moral suffering, more than physical, the Aztecs had to spend an overnight witnessed the traditions final of their elders.

The story is a tremendous series of killings, like the one we have just commemorated. The testimonies of the ancients, and the Evangelists themselves, reminiscent of Pontius Pilate procurator for its harsh treatment of Jews. The Nazarene was just one of many crucified, punishments with which the terror instilled Roman people down. Rereading the story of the Passion, I was shocked to hear the bluff of Pilate (Jn 18:35): Am I a Jew? This arrogant reply seems very revealing. The

contempt for the Jewish people in the Gospels is an optical error that has to do with the political environment in which the Gospels have spread over time. Hatred of Jews is not consistent with Christianity (especially because a 'Christian' is a 'follower of the Messiah of Israel' ). Pilate despised people down because it was the Roman ruler of Judea, "but we then we have to take sides in Rome by Caesar, Pilate? If we did, we would say, as the high priests led Jesus into the common hall: have no king but Caesar! (Jn 19.15). However, the Jewish people the way Jesus exclaimed: Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel! (Jn 12.9). When we hear the voices of the vanquished, Pilate's interrogation comes into its own (Tu es rex Iudaeorum?). Pontius Pilate is the real opponent of the Messiah, an antichrist , and so she spits at him, "Am I a Jew?". The Christian is the son of Israel, not Rome, hailed the Messiah, not to Caesar ("omnis enim is qui facit regem, contradicit Caesari) .

Al leave the library with the book of the mestizo Fernando de Alva Ixtlilxochitl under his arm, I retraced my steps and turned the corner in the Puerta Carmona . Climbing Street, reaching the height of the church of San Esteban, greeted at the door to some of the fraternity brothers and I went to see the steps. The sitting image of Jesus Health and Good Voyage could not leave the Gothic arch of the temple, the Tuesday before Easter, the rain thing. In my last post I mentioned the passage of the Gospel of Matthew 27.28 says that the soldiers of the Praetorian Guard and stripped Jesus chlamys covered with scarlet. Precisely the Christ of the brotherhood of St. Stephen is represented as well, and as the picture I bring it in black and white, we can not settle whether the soldier's cloak was red or purple ...

Guitar Fix Dongle For Ps2

The red cloak Bible Antinomies

The governor's soldiers took Jesus into the residence and gathered around him the whole company. He was stripped naked and put on Him a purple robe (Mt 27.27-28) [trad. Juan Mateos].

This passage, which is unparalleled in other two Evangelists (Mark 15.17 and Jn 19.2), founded iconography of derision or mockery of the soldiers . Interestingly here some would warn one of those tiny inconsistencies in the Gospels: What color was the coat, cloak or covering chlamys with praetorian soldiers to Jesus? "Red Matthew, or purple of Mark and John? Let's see what the text says in the Gospels of Matthew and Mark in some translations I have consulted:

chlamyda Kokkino / endydiskousin auton porphyra [Greek].
chlamydem coccineam / induunt eum purpura [Latin Vulgate].
Zauber kirmidzi / wa-hu-albasu uryuwan [Arabic, Lebanon Bible Society].
a mantle of purple / purple dress it [Castilian, EEC].
joins chlamyde écarlate / ils will revêtent of pourpre [French Bible de Jerusalem].
mantell of porpra a / the dress of porpra [Catalan, Montserrat Monjos].
mantle um vermelho / Vestiram Jesus com um purple robe [Portuguese CNBB].
a mantello Scarlatta / lo di Porpora vestirono [Italian CEI].
a scarlet robe / they Clothed him with purple [English, King James Version].
einen Purpur tablecloth / und ihm ein zogen Purpura [German Luther Bibel].

I now some notes to these versions, starting with those that I find unacceptable. Pour into two gospels purple is bad translation (like that offered by the official version of the English Episcopal Conference published this year), because it obscures the reader the discrepancy of the two parallel passages, which is evident in the original Greek and the Vulgate [ clamydem coccineam / purple ]. It is striking that the same defect incurred in the German version of Luther.

terms also regulates the Catalan version of the Abbey of Montserrat [ porpra ], although mitigated with a valuable note to Matthew ("the porpra imitated Vermella layer amb d'un soldat was a badge reial "), which already points to a more faithful translation of the text evangelist [ Vermella layer ], similar to the English of Juan Mateos P. sj [ red cloak ]. The Jerusalem Bible notes the same thing to chlamyde écarlate [" manteau of soldat romain ( sagum ). Sa couleur rouge pair will evoke derision the pourpre royale."]

If purple translate 15.17 in Mc raises no doubts, what would then be a good translation of chlamydem coccineam of Mt 27.28? Kokkinos (coccinus) and porphyra (purple), are different colors, then require different translations. The purple dye was obtained in antiquity, in the Phoenician city of Tyre, a marine gastropod mollusk. The Kokkinos is another dye obtained from a hemipteran insect, the kermes, which was extracted the crimson or scarlet. Not be confused.

Arab voices translation, which beat remotely in western languages are eloquent. The kirmidzi [ قرمزيا ] of the verse of Matthew, this is our crimson denotes the voice of Arab origin kermes , which is similar to hemipteran insect cochineal. Then the Arabic version endorses the Greek and Latin Kokkinos Mt coccinus be interpreted as the color that gives the insect cochineal: scarlet, crimson or red (purple ever!), Just how the vermilion Castilian, and Catalan vermell, come from vermiculus, vermis (worm, worm).

The translation that I like of which I consulted, is the New American Bible (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, Washington DC, 1970). Compare the Latin version, in the passage from Matthew: exuentes et eum, ei Circumdederunt coccineam chlamydem / they stripped off His clothes and wrapped him in a scarlet military Cloack. And in the passage of Mc: induunt et eum purpura / they dressed him in royal purple . The American version is very periphrastic (requires 75% more words than the Vulgate), but for that very very clear and explanatory. Shy away from cultism chlamys , preferring military Cloack circumlocution. And he believes necessary to specify royal purple (because readers do not understand the symbolism and regions this color). Thus, the modern English version leaves the primitiveness of the King James Bible (whose formal simplicity the like, however, to the classical languages).

The New American Bible (Ricciardi and Hurault, 1972) has the same virtues of clarity and precision. Mt Read: took away his clothes and put a layer of red soldier. While Mark made the mistake of erasing all traces of purple: was dressed in a red cape (sic), which is unacceptable for the reasons translation reverse to that are found in the standard versions of these two passages (correct red with purple).

And now back to our first question: that layer with the soldiers covered the nakedness of the Nazarene, was red or purple? The Gospels are not contradictory. Child would be a fallacy to claim that one of the evangelists were right, and the other in error, as a logical disjunction . Layer soldier, or chlamys, was red in all cases, as they say good translations of Mt Purple [eum purpura induunt ] is the meaning of royalty (away ridiculous, write the Bible of Jerusalem) that the Evangelist Mc fact attributed to a more vulgar and offensive, the mockery of the soldiers.

Therefore it must be assessed contradiction in Mt describe the event as it was (and color as it would), and instead set its symbolism Mc. The story is the same (the mockery of Jesus), although the interpretation of the Evangelists, expressed in the coat color [ chlamydem coccineam, purple ], differs. For some reason which we will not stop now, hebraizante Matthew is more sensitive to the fact mondo, and avoids stressing the sense of majesty in drafting the Roman Marcos.

therefore seems unfaithful to the letter that the term is regularized in both gospels, Matthew doing that I did not want to say (ie purple). The official version of the English Episcopal Conference, at least in the minimum fare, I think is unfortunate. If you have tried to resolve an apparent contradiction between making evangelists agree by force, saying so would not understand the meaning of the differences between parallel passages, and if, for catechetical and pastoral aims to avoid the perplexity of the faithful, This is so as to minors, which would be juggling the rich diversity of topography and the letter of the Gospels (as well as children are told not all).

Zybt20-100 Dongle Driver

El Chico 1996 (First Part)

- You can be on TV ...
- The. We are safe.
- is impossible. Until scientifically. Measured 1.50.
- But how much could it grow?. If almost had dwarfism. It's like comparing James Franco with Woody Allen. It's insulting, poor kid.
"But it is obvious that at 14 one of us was the cuckoo.
- I do not.
- Want to tell the truth and do not talk anymore?.
- This guy does not look anything like Gaston.
- do not see it for years. From camp to Máximo Paz.
"Exactly why I find it hard to relate the image of the cute doctor who goes on television with the freckled child that we ran with the whistle outside.
- I say it is.
- Suppose you and Lale are right. I do not understand because both brothel with this. Ok, we were companions of LINDO MEDICAL giving advice over the cord, we went to the colony Tinelli.
- is Gaston. You were dying when tanned by the "laucha style." Now that is huge, must leave. He is single.
- How do you know?.
- Lo Facebukeamos. "
- speaks well, Cumbio.
- We look at all the photos. In January he went to Disney.
- Pará "at 30 went to Disney to take photos with Donald?.
- I just spent 200 pesos on a Star Wars doll. You can not say anything about it. Also we read the wall. It is quite jeropico.
- Why?.
- The mines will sign. And he answered: "When I see ... you make me Bebot?."
- What?. And you want me to go out with a monkey as well?.
- I will not argue but you should have made more than once Bebot ...
- Meche, that's it. Do not go out with Gaston.
- Why not?. I am excited about the idea a bit. For me it always the divine. Boy is more closely resembled Macaulay Culkin.
- Yes. After the bees agarrran "My First Kiss." Already. They forget.
- You forget. And I sent him a message.
- What?.
- On Facebook. I told him I had seen on the Cable. To send him a kiss. You were prettier than ever and we left the four.
- Are you calibrated?.
-said yes. Agendate Friday.

Well, if so far things were going wrong, with this news, definitely would come out much worse. Happened to be the shy guy in the colony who saved his life rescuing it from the pool, the plastic surgeon who gives advice on TV. What strange mutation had suffered?. What I was going to talk with a plastic surgeon slicked hair and smeared in Calvin Klein "ONE"?.
But - once again, had nothing to lose. How bad can get a dinner with a guy you do not see in 1996?.

Police Audtions Calgary Jewlery

- Mariano invited me to spend the night in a telo.
- Will you go to a telo?.
"Yes, it seems like" intimate. " No, we drink.
-...
- What do you look so disgusted?.
- I just do not like the telos. There are ugly smell. Ricardo Montaner background and will not let me concentrate.
telos "Not all are equal. This is a 5 star telo. With Jacuzzi, Scottish shower, bed water, all amenities.
- Good fat.
- No. hippie Less than you know.
- I once went to a cloth and there were people in the hallways.
- ...
- Rare. People like "security" that prevented change rooms. It would be an anti telo swinger. Not. From that moment I took apprehension. Worse people who are called "transitional housing." "Are we going to a temporary shelter?.
-...
"Imagine if it says" transitional housing "must understand how little catch.
"Not all times are as telos of Fabian.
- Now I have to advance by naming a therapy session. Understand once and that was the worst thing happened to me in life.

Well maybe I exaggerate a bit. It was the worst but if a heavy moyyyy. At a party and quite drunk, singing GOD GAVE ROCK AND ROLL TO YOU Kiss karaoke, I grabbed a huge crush on a fellow faculty Meche. No one can say that Fabian is the kind of guy that catches my attention at a party. Rather the opposite. But he was recently separated from John and the pain would not let me think.
Fabian, alias "The locked" to my friends, was a fan of the equipment and the gym. I never point topped the "Cristian Sancho" style but that night, between drinks, kissed Mr. T and I accepted his proposal to go "to a quieter place.
Let's see, I was not going hand in hand with Bardem but neither had much choice. I had to decide between "locked" or a fan of Nito Artaza I had been talking all night. So I went with Schwarzenegger.

- I'm taking an amazing place.
- My Home. "
-...
-Joke. Joke.
- gonna fly girl. Tonight you're gonna fly.

Well, by that time things were already a bit more complicated. My intoxicated had fallen and when I realized what was happening and was in the car heading to a telo an anabolic fan who just could not imagine me saying HUNG HUNG.
On the other hand I thought, "I never met a bun so, the Ova Style Sabatini. And was, tomorrow I'll be the envy of all. I'll fly, this ape is right. "

And so we come to the world's ugliest hotel where a recorded announcer neighborhood, refrigerator and kept repeating TEVE 29 INCHES WITH 2 CHANNELS OF OWN VIDEOS WHERE WILL THE POSSIBILITY OF SEX CHOOSE BETWEEN CONVENTIONAL AND ALTERNATIVE SEX.

- What room do you prefer?
- A common. Bah not. "With refrigerator?.
- No baby." mirrored room or African Passion?.

Something was not right. African Passion "?" I really was happening?. I just wanted to be with Fabian tell the story of the night by the Indian Catriel but I never thought about things ethnic, or sex "alternative" or anything weird. Luckily we chose the mirrors.
"make yourself comfortable to come and" Fabi said winking at me.
Who was it? "The facade Martel? Why me winking?.
What do I do? - I thought, "Abs?. This guy must be accustomed to living with mine Like bodybuilders. What do I do?. What if there are people looking up? I was told that the telos shooting you all. "
rethink my existence And while grimacing in the mirror Fabian left the bathroom to floss. And there yes. Ahi was definitely ALL WRONG.

- Do you like mirrors?.
-Si.
- You look pretty?.
"I see a deformed touch this. Do not you think?.
"I think you look beautiful.
-Let's talk a while.
-Ja. Do you want to talk?.
-not, of life.
- Ok, but they came closer.
- Here I am good eh, because I am hot this part of the bed. What do your folks?.
- I love you all for me.
"But if we do not know.
"Just came here to know better. Come closer, I want you to fly.

a look: I'm not hysterical. I was not going to go with a guy to a telo but I like it. Here the problem was different. Mr Muscle was to be split in two, but clearly when he opened his mouth to speak, when I winked, when it came to get cute as FLYING, when he came out with dental floss, I was screaming in the face ERROR. This never should have happened a few kisses at a party.
And just when I wanted to put a stop to the situation of the 1500 inventing some human diseases, the worst is over.
Tarantinesca As a sequence, Fabi wanted to become the sexy upa getting up to throw me in the Jacuzzi, with the same violence of the sea trying to get you five. I was crying at least let me take off my clothes, "but between shrieks and laughter, I realized that meant naked before. How could a mass arrest of 70% carbohydrate 30% pure protein used to raise kilos and kilos of metal?. Easy: with tickling. Now the situation even seemed fun, laughter Fabi, mine and a moment to savor, to a slip caused him to fall backward into the whirlpool of boiling water, beating his head against the edge, and was nearly unconscious.
The night he would have "flown" pleasure to Fabian, I ended up having coffee machine in the ward of traumatology at Hospital Italiano listening as "stuck" complained almost like a child.

- I still remember and I get wrong.
"Well, That was ugly. But you had good times in telos.
- Few. Just now I went back to tell the story of Fabian worse one I remembered. The Leandro.
- Leandro?. One that was half Korean?.
- Ese.
- never wanted to say anything.
- is that Gore was so that's going to die with me.
- Mariano sent me a text. I booked in "The Gardens of Babylon," he says.
- There is a room called the Oracle of SOVEREIGN.
- And you how do you know?.
- Because there I was with Leandro, the pseudo Korean.
- What is good?.
-No, the guy pulled a blanket tantric. I could not see or hear anything.

Haemochromatosis And Bloated Stomach

can always be a little worse. Start

- I when I like a guy "post-post" is not ...
- What is a guy you like "post-post"?. Why you talk like Cumbio?.
- A boy I closed on all sides. Start doing shit, I get bad ...
- Slightly calibrated ...
- Yes. Predictable. Hysterical. Well boluda. That is what is happening to me Joe.
- Do not take it wrong but I do come out with Albert, which is already screwed, would not tell Joe.
- How do you want to tell boluda?. Albert?.
-No. Not.
Al - Al?. It's fucking good. There is Al Pacino.
- But Beto?. Do you agree?.
- So you say since childhood. Already. Alberto and I go out with me I have to bench. Is a name difficult for a 32. Ok. But I'm better than you, that's for sure. To you do not like any.
- Luis I liked.
- Luis does not count. I'm talking about a person who can hold a conversation over 15 minutes.
- Lisandro?.
- The worst of all. Phobic, ill-mannered, hypochondriac. A gem.
- Why so much? . It was a little melancholy, though.
- You have to do like me. You have to target children more real.
- What is it? . Any advertising DOVE for men?. "Real Boys" and appears Porcel clone.
"I mean that you know you are not going to flash the outset that you're going to have to paddle hard to make you like. "It's awful
what you're saying. And you do not look up. But you're making a face ...
-I do not make faces. But what I say is proven.
- By whom?. Why you and your teacher boluda Yoga.
- is sung. The new rate will start to like a month. Month and a half, Ponele.
- So you're a month with one that you like an idiot and then one day you wake up and - oh surprise in the kitchen is Orlando Bloom.
- As Beto's friend that I want to introduce. Not a guy you between the eyes, but I know a little more and you realize that you warm.
- What's his name? . Osvaldo?.
- No. Federico. A cameraman. Laburo in a production. But zero twist. Zero. Happy childhood, does not take benzodiazepines. Quite the opposite of what we know so far. Recently separated, like you. Gustar.Le I think you can pass your Facebook and see that wave. Meche

perhaps he was right. Had to leave out the "myth of the artist" and start a new phase. With less troublesome types of things I do easier. If you looking for one with the face of Jason Schwartzman, the "Perrez" from James Franco, wave Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Wahlberg's back, I would die unmarried. Get big significant addition to a cream for each part of the body-shape not low, but perhaps a little less.
So I finally went to Frank. Meche was right again. It was a bestial CHONGAZO, but very nice, friendly. We went to dinner at a beautiful place in Palermo. We told each other things. We had fun. She seemed very sweet. For the first time I felt that - at last everything was going well. That streak came controversy would have ended. I was going to close this blog and all have a happy ending like in the movies of Drew Barrymore.
finished dinner and invited me to go home to watch a DVD. I would have preferred going to the movies, but I did not bother the privacy of home. I did not want to take on the first date, if she tried something, it was going to be very clear.
opened a wine and watch movies together their shelf. We wanted to see "Sector 9" but the dvd does not func. So we huddled on the couch, turned on the television and did zapping.
In SAT I were giving Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. A simply brilliant film but if you just spread can be a pain in the ass.
When some time had passed I began to feel sound. Noises. As small groans, noises that would make a rat in the dark or cat that suffers. Or a child who complains. Fell short of meows, but I spent scraping.
I glanced over and saw Fede, crying. Using force to face so I did not realize.
I tried to continue business as usual. Had been moved around. Like me "Mi Primer kiss "when you die Macaulay Culkin.'s logical. We were not seeing" a laugh ". But the noises became increasingly intense until breaking into tears distressing, such as Andrea Del Boca Black Pearl. A cry dense.

- I think we have to turn off the TV.
-Perdoname. is that this movie reminds me of Laura. The part of the beach. ... Ours was just
- ...
- We met at a beach party in Cabo Polonio. I took him a beer, we started talking and no more parted. Until three months ago. They left me.
- I'm sorry. (PAREN. I know it is horrible what said. But what could I say?). Tell me if you do well.

And what followed was two hours containing a newly separated, listening to stories about his ex, seeing pictures of their holiday together in the world. In Temaikén with monkeys. Universal Studios, with the shark. In the Tigre. In the Plata. I saw every one of the photos next to Laura. Then we moved to the letters that he wrote. Valentine's Day cards in red envelopes, from expensive. Letters for anniversaries with stickers of Dora the Explorer. Fede the treasured loncherita neatly in a Spider-Man as a kid who keeps something very precious. While listening PULP - obviously, the soundtrack to listen to the two when they wanted.

- Vos no tenes because bancarte this. But I'm destroyed.
- I also separated. A year ago.
- So?.
- Y. .. is difficult.

Above all, and this was not going to say, because lately I manages appointments the enemy. Ok God, I get it. "Yes, until I realized you asked her out However, what I understood was what the blanket.
- We met on-line.
- What is On-line?
"On the Facebook, we have friends in common.
"Ah, internet.
- No. Oh, yes, but "I met on the Internet" sounds like Graña program report. "The Internet and its dangers." No, I like to say on-line.
-Ok. They met online. "But you never saw?.
"Yes, yes, we had crossed party. Well, I searched on facebook and sent me a message asking if I was playing guitar. I had played at a party with friends and when I finished, he came to ask myself more assholes in history.
- What?.
-If the guitar was a Fender or mongopicho. I realized I knew nothing about guitars, was sent to tell me that and I said a bad time.
- Why it or because you do not bench a guy to like?.
-Irma, do not start ...
"That's why you're here Ludmila. For this serves the therapeutic space. For us to think together these things.

- Ah. "He also released an album?
- No. In Facebook you can you put names to the photo albums. But no matter, he used a theme of Eric Clapton and titled in English. JAF did the same and feel sorry. In some photos zafaba. I said "Apa, I could be." And it added.
- Well, then, was not so bad.
- I asked the Messenger.
- So?.
-Irma, ask the messenger is very young, not of floggers. Missing me wonder if I use Ponny or Nike. How are you going to ask the Messenger?.
- I do not see what is wrong. For there did not dare to ask the phone.
- It is 2001, the "pass me your MSN. "Ah ah re re" "I think Ludmila
that here the problem lies elsewhere. Vos to a man who does not fit into your subconscious parameters of" ideal boyfriend ", she rejected, that is a pure defense mechanism.
- Le Like Ismael Serrano.
"Me too.
" Yes, but you are my therapist.
-Many patients also likes mine. I do not see anything wrong with that.
-not very bohemian Calle Corrientes. This wave "Juggling", "Minstrel of traffic lights," I respect but I do not go.
- You prefer a guy like Juan that almost makes you mad?.
- No. One as John is not all his neurosis.
- Let. Did you give the MSN?.
- Yes. But always blaming Fibertel that connection slow walking, and blah, blah, blah. At times, telling me things. Occasionally I got a smiley and then I disconnected.
"But that may be a way of expressing different from yours.
- Sure, but if that form is the MSN blond doll making as hugging, is a way that reinforces an intimacy.

- Why?
"I did the Moonwalk. The dance of Michael Jackson. To break the ice, do not know, but it was such an idiot. I paddled it eh - as I told you out.
-....
- top I realized I was half nut. Who has a poster of Audi in the room?.
-...
- I was in pajamas, sitting on my bed, the dog went in front of the notebook, it was uncomfortable. Middle trash. Suddenly his voice changed. It was like having a distorted voice. In a talk as Peluffo and suddenly it was Darth Vader. If I start to explain who's who miss the session. But he took his shirt and says "grass-
something you too -" And you did?. "I

- Want to tell me why?.
- Because I stood in front of the machine gums waiting say something. Not. SOMETHING.
-...
"Nobody said anything. Why I believe that for a long time and I saw no, no, I stood in silence in front of the PC, his face haggard. It seemed an Iranian film. He asked me to call by phone. I told him I was half later that morning he had to go to the editorial, because I am writing a book, he had a meeting at eight o'clock-all topless, and could not speak for Tel
-. ..
- Then when I realized the crap that I had ordered, and was facing a guy who could do no more. Somehow he had agreed to his game and had managed to peel a tit. Now all the kids with those who spoke were to say, "Look guys there is the stripping boobs" - I grabbed in a moment of weakness. Never again. Kind of had to cut it. You start showing a tit, you follow the tantra, and end up with a JAPANESE BONDAGE.
- What is the latest?.
half sado-A technique that involves tying the body with strings, like a roulade.
- ...
- I had to end this terrible night. Then proposed to play blanket. The I had to do, and the slogan was IMAGINE. I turned off the light in the room, I crawled under the blanket. In the light of phone read the Rolling Stone, as I listened-good-by ESO. And the things I wondered. Y yo occasionally threw a one MMMM. I lasted two minutes Irma. No, I can not get a guy like me any precio.O the other way too. In the dark, I stood quietly and unplug the machine. - "You lose, you lose" - was the last thing I heard him say.

- Is this real?.
- Yes.
